Ugandan police have launched a manhunt for a woman suspected of fatally stabbing her husband during a domestic altercation in Wakiso District.
The incident took place on the evening of 2 August 2025 in Kiteredde Village, Kakiri Town Council. Authorities say a quarrel between the suspect, identified only as Florence, and her husband, Kiyondo Kisamba, escalated into violence. Florence is alleged to have grabbed a knife and stabbed Kisamba in the neck, killing him instantly before fleeing the scene.

Crime scene officers and detectives from Kakiri Police Station responded to the incident, which has been registered under reference number SD 91/02/08/2025.
In a separate incident later that night, police in Kira Municipality responded to a fatal traffic collision along the Kireka–Namugongo road. The crash, which occurred at around 11:00 p.m., left two people dead at the scene. A third individual was critically injured and transported to Mulago National Referral Hospital by the police emergency response team.
One person has been taken into custody in connection with the road crash, now being investigated under file TAR 258/2025 at Kira Division.
Investigations into both the domestic homicide and the traffic accident are ongoing.
