An unidentified man, believed to be in his 30s, set himself on fire near Parliament’s main gate on Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses reported that he poured petrol over himself before igniting the flames just meters from the entrance.

Police officers at the scene responded swiftly, rushing him to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities have yet to release details about his identity or condition. The man was reportedly wearing yellow trousers.
