Residents in Lira City are mourning the death of Joe Ebong, widely known as Biggie, who collapsed while watching a football match at a local bar.
The 56-year-old, who served as chairperson of the National Resistance Movement Veterans League in the city, was at Amazon Pub on Monday night when the incident happened.

According to friends, Mr Ebong had been watching a Premier League match and stood up to celebrate a goal before suddenly collapsing. He was rushed to a nearby clinic but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
One witness said he appeared to suffer a heart attack during the celebrations.
Tributes have since been paid by colleagues and community members, who described him as approachable and dedicated to both his work and the wider community.
Patrick Okwir, a local official, said the news had come as a shock and was difficult to accept. Others suggested that an underlying health condition may have contributed to his death.
Messages of condolence have also been shared by friends and groups he was associated with, offering support to his family.
Mr Ebong is remembered for his involvement in local affairs and his long-standing ties to the community in Lira.
