Retired Gen. Mugisha Muntu, the leader of the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT), further disclosed that Uganda is reaching a critical “turning point” due to continued government suppression and authoritarian rule.
“We are just staring at a scene of what the regime has been implementing for a long time,” Muntu stated. “All authoritarian regimes try it, he added.
“The inevitable next phase is the turning point—one that they cannot control. The phase of a trigger. Always inevitable, too. A luta continua, he added.
Also on X, the CDF claimed, “There is no shame in hanging a traitor.”
He added, “Be assured, if I do decide to hang Besigye, I will do it in broad daylight.”
“What’s wrong with Besigye? Is he scared of the gallows?” Muhoozi added.
