The National Unity Platform (NUP) activist claims he had been following up on the refund for more than three months without success.
Narrating his ordeal, Buwembo began, “I submitted my application in August after my case was dropped, and I have been waiting for a notification ever since… In October, I returned to court only to be told they had no record of my file.”
He adds that, “They searched for the file and asked me to return after three days. When I came back, they assured me I would receive a mobile money notification within a few days. Since October, I have been waiting, but nothing has come through.”
