The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Electoral Commission has released official guidelines detailing nomination fees for party aspirants contesting in the 2025 internal elections.
To streamline payments, candidates can remit fees via bank deposit or mobile money. The commission emphasized that all aspirants must provide proof of payment—either a bank slip or mobile money transaction ID—to the assigned Presiding Officer during nomination.

The EC warned that no candidate will be cleared without verified payment evidence and advised aspirants to keep their transaction records.

Member of Parliament – Shs 3 million

LCV Councillor / Division Chairperson – Shs 200,000

1st & 2nd National Vice Chairpersons – Shs 10 million each

The EC stated that the fee structure is mandatory and urged candidates to pay on time through approved methods.
