KABALE: Headteacher Collapses to death amidst Church Mass

The head teacher of Lower Bugongi primary school, Justin Mugabiirwe, tragically collapsed and died during a church mass at Christ the King Church in Kabale district.

Mugabiirwe, who resided in Murungu village, Kabale district, had attended the Thursday holly mass. 

Witnesses, including one Christian named Richard seated beside her, recalled that Mugabiirwe suddenly collapsed during the service.

As mass continued, Mugabiirwe’s last words were a request to be taken to Mother Mary’s shrine outside the church for prayers. 

Unfortunately, she did not survive the journey. A teacher from the school mentioned that Mugabiirwe had been battling with diabetes or hypertension, which might have contributed to her sudden collapse and subsequent passing.
