Eyewitnesses stated that the driver of the speeding truck registration number UBJ 930T and trailer registration UAW 217A lost control before it first rammed into a restaurant and several vegetable stalls along the road.
This injured a yet-to-be-established number of people who were then rushed to Kawolo Hospital in Lugazi, Buikwe District, and others referred to Mulago National Referral Hospital in Kampala for treatment.
