Centenary Bank has come out to respond to a recent publication that involved its agents being remanded to prison for causing losses to the bank through unauthorized transactions.
Through a statement released by the management, the bank says that it is aware of this and handling it seriously to recover the lost funds.

Centenary Bank is aware of the ongoing case involving agents, who are suspected to have carried out unauthorized transactions in August this year, resulting in the loss of the bank’s funds.
Centenary Bank is pursuing this matter with the seriousness it deserves and is fully cooperating with the concerned authorities, to ensure that those responsible are brought to book and our funds are recovered.
Centenary Bank has zero tolerance for fraud and is committed to safeguarding customers’ funds and to the swift resolution of this matter. To this end, we wish to note that no customer deposits were lost. All customer deposits remain safe and accessible to those who may wish to transact.
