On a Tuesday afternoon, three mourners died on their way to a funeral in a Boda Boda accident, as three others in critical condition were rushed to Kayunga General Hospital.
In Namagabi village along Kayunga-Busaana road, two boda bodas carrying mourners going to the same funeral collided, killing three people and injuring three others.

An eyewitness and relative to one of the victims disclosed that all the deceased and victims were from the same village, Nyondo Village, Busaana Subcounty, travelling to Kangulumira Subcounty to a burial of one of the residents.
It is reported that a motorcycle carrying two passengers was joining the main road while another carrying four passengers crashed into it. Reports added that two of the deceased were brothers.
In a sad comic turn of events, police arrived on the scene after an hour on foot, prompting barrages, sneers and insults from the public, How are you going to take the bodies?, One of the onlookers asked ?
Later, a heavy vehicle belonging to Kayunga Town Council arrived and nodes loaded to be dispatched to Kayunga regional referral hospital for a postmortem.
Traffic police attributed the accident to overspeeding, and the wreckaged motorcycles were taken to Kayunga police station.
