R&B Legend R Kelly sentenced in Child P0rn case

After being found guilty in September of child p0rnography and enticing a minor, the disgraced R&B singer R. Kelly was given a sentence of 20 years in prison on Thursday by a federal judge in Chicago.

His defense successfully called for his additional time to be served concurrently, countering that the 56-year-old was already serving a “de facto life sentence” and that the chances of him reoffending “as a geriatric in his mid-80s” were nonexistent. However, prosecutors had requested 25 years to be served after his previous 30-year sentence for racketeering and s3x trafficking was completed.

The Grammy-winning predator’s lengthy federal sentence was the reason Cook County prosecutors dropped charges of aggravated criminal s3xual assault and aggravated criminal s3xual abuse against him last month.
