FULL LIST: Rise & Shine High School Ntinda Maintains Lead among Top schools with students with 20-in-20 Countrywide

Rise And Shine High School Ntinda, a mixed, boarding modern secondary school for O’ and A’ Level, has again registered triumph in the recently released 2022 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Examinations (UACE) results after it emerged among the few schools countrywide with students with 20-in-20.



This is not the first time, Rise and Shine High School Ntinda, a fully registered modern school with excellent facilities is performing wonders .Prior to last week’s UACE results, the school has been in continual celebrations of victory registered in the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE).



According to Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB), 97,890 candidates sat the 2022 UACE examination from 1,969 centres across the country.



Additionally, results released at the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) indicate that “the overall candidates’ performance in the 2022 UACE examinations registered a very high percentage of candidates (99.2%) who qualified for the award of the UACE-just as was in 2020.’’

According to the executive director of Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb), Daniel Odongo, out of the 96,557 candidates who sat for the exams, there were 40,219 female candidates and 56,023 male candidates. Despite the lower number of female candidates, they still managed to outperform the boys. It’s quality over quantity, baby!

The results showed that the girls had a higher percentage of passes at the upper level of 3 and 2 principal passes.

At least 106 schools had a total of 229 students scoring 20 points, the maximum a student can get in A-level. The number of schools on the list has increased, indicating that more schools are now producing students with top grades.

The top schools with students who scored 20 points out of 20 points were; Rise and Shine High School Ntinda, St.Mary’s Secondary School, Kitende (Wakiso), Ntare School (Mbarara), King’s College, Budo (Wakiso), Bp.Cipriano Kihangire Secondary School (Kampala), St.Mary’s College, Lugazi (Buikwe) and St.Mary’s College, Kisubi (Wakiso). It’s time to enroll in one of these schools if you want to achieve greatness.

It is worth noting that Rise and Shine High School Ntinda is among the schools on the 2020 list that reappeared on the list in 2022, indicating that these schools have a track record of producing top-performing students. The 2022 lists show that most of the schools are located in Wakiso district, followed by Mukono, Kampala, and other districts.
