Speaking to the media, Doreen Kaijja, coordinator of the NUP Leadership School, claimed the operatives vandalized property and took Shs 2 million from the office and an additional Shs 2.5 million from the party’s shop.
NUP leaders condemned the raid as an act of theft disguised as a security operation, describing it as part of an ongoing crackdown on opposition activities.
While police have not addressed the theft allegations, security agencies have previously defended such operations, citing efforts to prevent subversive activities.
