Authorities in Kiboga district have detained two directors from Spring of Wisdom primary school, Bruno Ddamulira and Gladys Nakalyango, on suspicion of murdering a 26-year-old teacher and her one-year-old child.
The victims, Noeline Nabwenjje and her child Jonan Gayel, were found dead in their rented house in Kyanja cell, Kiboga town council, on June 30.
Following the crime, the perpetrators locked the victims inside and fled. Locals, becoming suspicious when the victims did not emerge the next day, broke into the house and contacted the police.
The police arrived promptly and began investigations, leading to the arrest of the school directors. The bodies were sent to Kiboga general hospital for postmortem before being returned to the family for burial.
